Alex Tedder is head of global equities at Schroders Investment Management based in London. He joined the firm from American Century Investments in New York, where he was senior vice president and senior portfolio manager. Alex initially joined Schroders in 1990 working in UK and Germany, where he was responsible for promoting European equity mandates. He graduated from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland with an MA in Economics.

Objective

To provide capital growth primarily through investment in equity and equity related securities of companies worldwide. In order to achieve the objective the Investment Manager will invest in a select portfolio of securities, which it believes offer the best potential for future growth. The fund invests in a concentrated number of stocks, with the aim of delivering strong returns over the long term. We focus on only our very best investment ideas, namely companies that demonstrate characteristics such as solid medium-term growth prospects, compelling stock valuations and management quality.
