Carl Dirk Enderlein is the lead equity portfolio manager for Wellington Management's Strategic European Equity fund. He manages equity assets on the behalf of Wellington’s clients, drawing on research from Wellington Management’s global industry analysts, equity portfolio managers, and team analysts. Enderlein is a member of one of Wellington Management’s Equity Review Groups. He works in Wellington’s London office. Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2010, Enderlein worked as a portfolio manager at Allianz Global Investors RCM, formerly Deutscher Investment Trust. Before that, he worked as an analyst covering interest-rate derivatives at Crédit Lyonnais. Enderlein earned his MS in business administration and mechanical engineering from Technische Universität Dresden and his BS in the same specialty from Universität Kaiserslautern. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is fluent in French and German.

Objective

The fund aims to achieve longer-term total returns by investing in a diversified portfolio of European domiciled companies that exhibit earnings and cash-flow growth above the market average. The MSCI Europe Index is used as a reference benchmark.
