About Olgerd Eichler

Olgerd Eichler has become one of Germany’s best known fund managers in recent years, after being showered with awards for his performance with a range of global and north American equity funds. Eichler joined the German group Union Investment in 2000 after five and a half years in the treasury and private banking departments of Citibank AG, and then moved to MainFirst in 2007. The US has proved a profitable hunting ground for Eichler, who gained his MBA in finance while studying there. He is one of few managers who has consistently outperformed the S&P 500 Index. ‘We are investors and not just short term traders’, he says about his management philosophy. He now runs the MainFirst - Top European Ideas and Classic Stock funds.
